Most fresh seaweeds can be cut up and deep-fried for a nice crispy accompaniment,
fresh seaweed varieties can be cooked and served alongside a seafood dish or in soups.
Look at any coastal cuisine and you’ll find seaweed.
It’s delicate and only needs a 10-minute bath in hot water or
added to hot dishes at the last minute (usually 3-20 seconds depending on the variety)
